Fog and frost on the plain
On the valley floor winter brings fog and frost. Outdoor pipes, irrigation and pools must be put to rest in time: forgotten antifreeze is expensive in February.
Houses in historic centres
In Cortona, Montepulciano and Città della Pieve many houses are in the historic centres: limited vehicle access, old roofs, walls shared with neighbours. Coordinating work here needs access permits and different timings.

Do you cover both the Umbrian and the Tuscan side?
Yes, it is normal for us. Città della Pieve is in Umbria; Chiusi, Montepulciano and Cortona in Tuscany. We work with suppliers on both sides and know the relevant offices.
Do you also look after apartments in historic centres?
Yes. For an apartment the Essenziale plan is often enough, with particular attention to roofs, leaks from upper floors and access.
How long does it take you to get there in case of problems?
Between 20 and 35 minutes from Castiglione del Lago, in normal conditions. In case of an anomaly we call you within 24 hours (4 with the Integrale plan).
